FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for OEM parts?

MOQ depends on the part family and whether tooling already exists. For standard machine heads and bridges, typical MOQ is 500–1,000 sets. For fully custom parts that require new tooling, MOQ is usually 2,000+ pieces. Share your drawings or target specs and we will quote a precise MOQ within one business day.

What is the typical lead time for mass production?

For in-tooling standard parts: 25–35 days. For new-tooling custom parts: 45–60 days (tooling 20–30 days + mass production 25–30 days). Air freight and sea freight options are both available; we ship from our Zunyi factory or US sales office in Fort Myers, FL.

Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We provide existing-item samples free of charge (freight collect). For custom samples requiring new tooling, a tooling and sample fee applies, which is refundable against your mass-production order. Sample lead time is 7–15 days.

What level of customization do you support?

Full customization: dimensions, materials (zinc alloy, brass, steel, aluminum, ABS), surface finish (chrome, nickel, gold, copper, gunmetal, custom colors), gear ratio, knob style, button shape, and private-label packaging. Our in-house tooling shop produces the molds, so we control the entire process from drawing to delivery.

What quality certifications does your factory hold?

Our Zunyi factory is ISO 9001 certified, with 260 staff including 36 technicians across six in-house shops: tooling, CNC machining, die-cast and injection, precision stamping, electroplating, and assembly. Every production lot goes through dimensional, functional, and finish inspection before shipment.

Which regions do you currently serve?

We have been exporting guitar hardware worldwide since 1998, with long-term OEM partnerships across North America, Europe, and Asia. We have a US sales office in Fort Myers, FL for faster response and local support in the Americas, and a China sales office in Hangzhou for Asia-Pacific customers.
